Sustainability

So, all this talk about being a "Sustainable" and "Climate-Positive" company, but what does it really mean?

TrainPURE Fitness equipment is Made from the forest, for the forest. All of the materials from which we make our products are Natural Forest Materials: Wood from the Birch tree, Cork from the Cork Oak Tree and Rubber from the Rubber Tree. We keep it simple.

There are 3 main areas in which we focus our sustainability efforts:

Holding Plant

REFORESTATION

As a sign of gratitude towards our Earth and our forests for the materials it presents us with, we choose to give back with our Reforestation Initiative. We have partnered with local Environmental Conservation Organization "East Coast Tree Project" which aims to help Irish companies offset their carbon footprint by planting Native Irish trees locally.

We have an agreement with this project in which we have pledged to plant a tree with them for every product that we sell.

We also love to get our hands dirty by participating in local tree-planting events with the project!

MANUFACTURING

We consciously choose to use suppliers that manufacture with exclusively Biodegradable, Recyclable and Vegan Materials. Having products made of all-Natural materials ensures that they will not end up in landfill sites for hundreds of years to come. All of our products are designed to be Naturally Biodegradable. They can all be recycled into new products once they have reached the end of their lifespan, ensuring that we leave minimal waste behind.

Using high quality sustainably sourced materials from reliable manufacturers ensures that this lifespan will stretch many years into the future, reducing the need for other equipment and further waste. We also ensure that we use zero animal by-products in production.

PACKAGING

We have gone to great lengths to ensure that Zero Plastic is used in our packaging. Our products come in sustainable cardboard boxes with no wasteful plastic. This cardboard can easily be recycled and used again. Like all of the materials used in our products, our packaging is a product of our forests.

We recognize how damaging non-biodegradable plastic is towards our environment- from our forests to our oceans, so we consciously choose not to contribute towards the growing mountains of plastic on our Earth.

BUT WHY?

It is important to us that we leave no trace to pollute our world for the generations to come.

We are one of the few "Climate-Positive" companies that aim to give more to our planet than we take away, and we hope to inspire other businesses and individuals to follow suit.

The time for action against climate change is now.  We all have a role to play.

If not now, when? If not us, who?
